Practice Journal entry (thoughts)

Still having trouble with flexibility, basic centering of pitches, yada yada yada. Some things never change.

While I was visiting Missouri, Bill Mann suggested getting a copy of the Buzzing Basics CD and Book. He mentioned that this helped his buzzing, flexibility, and centering immensely.

Possibly I'm cheap, or un-focused, or a glutton for punishment. I decided to make up some exercises of my own a-la-Thompson et al., addressing my own challenges. My current project is an annoying break somewhere between G3 and D4. Perhaps this will mean that I can address some little problems of my own in particular. Of course DIY means it's free.

Scores and recordings (mp3's) are available from dentonlt.com/downloads in the handout section.
