Clean Up and Notes
After cleaning, I just try to be sure that I have left no mess. Clean out the tub, put away the tools, oils, and greases, and restore the trombone to its case or stand.
It is probably wise to bathe your trombone every month to few months, and definitely if you have been ill. The instrument holds a significant volume of moisture and is probably the source of untold numbers of colds.
Keeping the instrument clean, however, certainly feels good, looks good, and sounds good.
