Snake the Slides

After soaking the slides for ten or twenty minutes, use the cleaning snake to remove any deposits still stuck inside.

Again, do not snake the outer slide! This can damage the main slide.

One by one, run the snake through each tube, rinse them out with clean water, and set them aside to dry. Take your time, and avoid accidentally dropping anything, or marring any of the finishes. The main (hand) slide is the most fragile.

Depending upon when your last clean was, a good cleaning will remove quite a wealth of collected material.

When you are finished, gently dry each piece (but avoid any remaining greasy bits!). Put the slides aside somewhere safe to air dry, and clean out the tub.

Use the snake to clean all but the outer slide. After drying with a cloth, let the slides air dry. The water will probably be dirty by now. Wash it out.
